Circa 1890 fish plate, part of a six piece set made in Limoges, France. Signed by artist, A. Broussilloy. Affluent Victorian families had special dishes for serving fish during meals that included five or six courses. The excellent condition of these hand painted plates means that they were probably displayed as decorative objects.
