Over 4,000 visitors from the local community and as far away as San Diego and Bakersfield visited the Banning Museum for the annual Victorian Christmas Celebration and Open House. There were smiles all around as guests enjoyed the holiday festivities in beautiful Southern California weather. Santa greeted the little ones and horse drawn trolleys carried folks to the Drum Barracks Museum down the street. Still, the star of the show was the Banning Mansion dressed in its finest holiday splendor. Join us on Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7  from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as we kick off the  holiday season in grand style at the Banning Museum’s Annual Victorian Christmas Celebration and Open House! The Ada Hancock Disaster remains the most tragic loss of life event to take place in the Los Angeles Harbor. Banning Museum Director, Michael Sanborn will lecture on the cause and aftermath that impacted the survivors and the businesses that suffered as a result of the horrific explosion.
