Smiles All Around At Victorian Christmas 2016
On December 3rd and 4th, over 4,000 visitors from the local community and as far away as San Diego and Bakersfield visited the Banning Museum for the annual Victorian Christmas Celebration and Open House. There were smiles all around as guests enjoyed the holiday festivities in beautiful Southern California weather. Santa greeted the little ones and horse drawn trolleys carried folks to the Drum Barracks Museum down the street. Still, the star of the show was the Banning Mansion dressed in its finest holiday splendor. Guests were delighted to see the rooms decorated with traditional Victorian adornments and Christmas trees nearly touching the ceiling!
The event has become an annual tradition for families and friends as a fun way to kick off the holiday season. Held every year the first full weekend in December, we look forward to welcoming even more visitors next year! Thank you to the many sponsors who made this event possible! And, congratulations to Michael Garcia of Los Angeles for winning the APPLE WATCH Series 2 raffle prize.
