17th Annual Phineas Banning Birthday Celebration and Concert
VIP Reservations Are Now Closed. Picnic Tickets Can Be Purchased At The Gate On The Night Of The Event. Gates Close At 6 pm.
Join us on Saturday, August 16 to celebrate the Father of the Los Angeles Port, Phineas Banning. This year, we return to the Country Western theme and celebrate with a big hoedown filled with live music and dancing. JB and The Big Circle Riders return to the front porch to play all the hits, while Museum newcomers, Felicity and Andrea will teach guests how to line dance.
It will be an evening of laughter and fun as we come together under the stars to raise funds for the most iconic home in Southern California, The Banning Museum.
We will also recognize this year’s Phineas Banning Entrepreneurial Spirit Award Winner, Mike Lansing, Retired Executive Director of The Boys and Girls Club of the LA Harbor. Under his leadership, the organization grew from a single club in San Pedro to 25 club houses and school sites across San Pedro, Wilmington, and Harbor City, serving 2,800 kids every day. 
A delicious buffet dinner will be provided by the one and only Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que for those with reserved seating for $65.
Guests who want to bring their own meal are welcome to Picnic for $10 per person on the lawn.
