Please join us on Saturday, July 28, at 10 a.m. for lecture and book signing with Tom Sitton, the author of “Grand Ventures: The Banning Family and the Shaping of Southern California.”
For “”Grand Ventures, The Banning Family and the Shaping of Southern California–Two Generations,” Mr. Sitton will be speaking on the role of pioneer, Phineas Banning and his descendants in the rise of this region based on his book. He will primarily focus on the second generation and their ownership of Santa Catalina Island from 1892 to 1919.
