Volunteer Spotlight: Laura Mohberg
Laura Mohberg has been volunteering at the Banning Museum for seven years. Here’s how she ended up as a volunteer. “Several years ago there was a U.S. Presidents storytime at the Wilmington Library, which is within walking distance to the mansion. We then walked to the Museum to have a Victorian Treat of scones/cream and strawberries. The program was so engaging and enjoyable that I wanted to be a part of it.”
As a Banning Museum volunteer, Laura researches and studies a lot of books and periodicals related to the time period. She adds: “I help out setting up for special events, I attend Banning Lectures and other Residence Museums in other local cities, countries, and States.”
